Of grotesque faces I need say nothing because they are kept in mind without difficulty. - Leonardo da Vinci

2013 LA Auto Show

One of the best looking new cars of the whole show. It looks even better in coupe form than convertible and the interior was really nice.

Mercedes concept that they made just for a video game.

Mustang used for the Need for speed movie 1/5 made, the others were crashed during filming.

This thing was huge and costs 1 million dollars. Buick Enclave taillights. Volvo convertible hardtop base and a huge v8 engine. The tires almost go up to your chest.

The Vanquish is still one of the best looking cars in the world. The 4 door Aston Martin is much better looking in real life than in pictures.

The most impressive car of the whole show besides the new Corvette and Jaguar coupe was the Porsche Panamera hybrid.

Da Vinci's Viola Organista

"Leonardo da Vinci invented numerous devices that he never built, including the viola organista -- a machine-like instrument that combines a harpsichord, an organ and a viola da gamba. This 500-year-old idea is now a reality, however, thanks to Polish musician Slawomir Zubrzycki. His 5,000-hour project faithfully recreates da Vinci's concept, using a keyboard to press steel strings against moving wheels wrapped in horse hair. The results are sweet-sounding, despite the seemingly odd approach; as you'll hear in a debut performance after the break, Zubrzycki effectively becomes a one-man string ensemble. While it's doubtful that you'll ever find a viola organista in the local music shop, the one-off creation proves that da Vinci knew how to blend technology and art." - Engadget

Would not come

"Would Not Come"
if I make a lot of tinsel then people will want to if I am hardened no fear of further abandonment if I am famous then maybe i'll feel good in this skin if I am cultured my words will somehow garner respect
ohh -i would throw a party still it would not come i would bike run swim and still it would not come i'd go travelling and still it would not come I would starve myself and still it would not come
if I'm masculine I will be taken more seriously if I take a break it would make me irresponsible if i'm elusive I will surely be sought after often if I need assistance then I must be incapable

i'd be filthy rich and still it would not come I would seduce them and still it would not come I would drink vodka and still it would not come i'd have an orgasm still it wouldn't come
if I accumulate knowledge i'll be impenetrable if I am aloof no one will know when they strike a nerve if I keep my mouth shut the boat will not have to be r…

OCD Love Story

The first time I saw her...
Everything in my head went quiet.
All the ticks, all the constantly refreshing images just disappeared.
When you have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, you don't really get quiet moments.
Even in bed, I'm thinking:
Did I lock the doors? Yes.
Did I wash my hands? Yes.
Did I lock the doors? Yes.
Did I wash my hands? Yes.
But when I saw her, the only thing I could think about
was the hairpin curve of her lips..
Or the eyelash on her cheek—
the eyelash on her cheek—
the eyelash on her cheek.
I knew I had to talk to her.
I asked her out six times in thirty seconds.
She said yes after the third one, but none of them felt right, so I had to keep going.
On our first date, I spent more time organizing my meal by color
than I did eating it, or talking to her..
But she loved it.
She loved that I had to kiss her goodbye sixteen times
or twenty-four times if it was Wednesday.
She loved that it took me forever to walk home
because there are lots of cracks on our sidewalk.
When we moved…

Talking Budgies

Parakeets are the best talking birds in the world.. It's kinda amazing that you can go and buy a little guy that has the intelligence of a young child for 20$ What most people don't realize is that they are not only mimicking sounds but are able to speak in context and understand what you are doing and saying. With parakeets they can be hard to understand since they talk so fast. They also learn to talk the best when there is only one by itself so they want to interact and socialize with people and not another parakeet.

"In 1995 a budgerigar named Puck was credited by Guinness World Records as having the largest vocabulary of any bird, at 1,728 words."
"A parakeet, what is it? A green bellied bird that talks - but that's not important right now."
