Anamorphic Illusion

Anamorphosis is a distorted projection or perspective requiring the viewer to use special devices or occupy a specific vantage point to reconstitute the image. The word "anamorphosis" is derived from the Greek prefix ana-, meaning back or again, and the word morphe, meaning shape or form.

Anamorphosis is a type of art that rely's on the viewers perspective to be seen properly. This video explains it easier than words or diagrams could!

Leonardo da Vinci is the first person known to implement it specifically in his art - 500 years ago. In my book I'm going to present another angle to this technique that he used that will really warp your mind!
